Media Memory

It was just this September 2008. It was on the Saturday of a UGA home football game. I can't remember who they were playing but it was the first or second game of the season. My roommate and I rode to the game in the same car coming from the Exchange apartments on Atlanta Highway. My roommate Corey Butler is on the UGA basketball team. He gets a call during the game letting him know that Coach Felton wanted to have the players and some recruits come to dinner at his house after the game. Being that we were in the same car, I would have to go also, or we would have to go through the inconvience of driving down Atlanta Highway through game day traffic to drop me off then go back out into the traffic. Therefore, Corey asked coach Felton if it was okay for me to tag along. Coach said it was okay. Keep in mind Coach Felton just got a new contract after winning the SEC tournament.
We travel out through what seems like to the middle of nowhere until we reach coach Felton's Division 1 basketball coach salary bought house. Nice House, big yard, water fall in the back, game room, with actual arcades in the room. (Man I need to think about a career in coaching. ) But the biggest thing that I will remember and is the topic of my media memory was the theatre room.
In this room coach Felton had a I think 82 inch High definition movie screen. Imagine having your own movie theatre where you can just watch regular T.V.. But this was better than the movies. In this movie style theatre room he had about five rows of well cushioned, recliners. These werent just just regular recliners. They had surround sound speakers in them. Yes speakers in the chairs. I would like to meet the genuis that came up with such that great idea a personally thank them. I was in Heaven. We watched the florida game in the theatre room. Not only did it feel like I was at the game, it feel like I had it better than the people at the game. The game was intense. The fans were intense. The bands were intense. The screen was clearer than I came close to begging coach Felton to adopt me, so i could live inthe theatre room forever, but then I remembered that I was 21 years old.
After we left coach's house I went home and get right into my textbooks. Seeing that theatre room motivated me to work as hard as possible in class so that I can get me one of those rooms, not just one day, but as soon as possible. Who Knows by then they may have Holigrams or something real cool.

Ands thats my Media memory
